The creative projects are made of a series of workshops for the young in Ljubljana's local youth clubs. They present an opportunity for the young to become active and create their own products.
The programme will consist of topical issues such as jewellery, clothes recycling, love, decorative and useful indoor items and stimulate the young to learn, acquire manual skills, think about their ideas and make them come true in the final product. The workshops constituting the programme are standalone and follow one another, allowing the participants to take part in all or just one of them.
They are designed so as to spark the inner creativity processes, as some products will be made from cloth, glitter, lace without cuts and with few stitches while being unique. The young will be able to create leather accessories, brooches, earrings, love letters, soft pillows, messaging boards ...
Aims of the workshops:
- Encourage creative self-confidence;
- Stress the importance of handicraft skills to the participants;
- Offer a relaxing atmosphere;
- Develop key competences, such as creativity, entrepreneurship, innovativeness, learning to learn and active participation in society;
- Create pleasant sessions and get to know each other better by exchanging experiences.
The programme aids the participants to develop key competencies, required for a successful life in today's world:
- Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship;
- Learning to learn;
- Social and civic competences.
The program is based on informal learning methods, with the young participants taking centre stage in co-creating the outcomes and paths to learning. Creativity has a special meaning as a skill and can lead participants to more solutions.
The workshops will take place until summer in the Črnuče and Bežigrad local youth clubs.

FASHION JEWELLERY AND ACCESSORIES
Learning to make leather jewellery, such as necklaces, earrings, brooches, mobile phone pouches etc.
RECYCLING
How to refresh your favourite but worn out clothes or change them into completely new and useful items.
MAKE AN ORIGAMI MAKE A POEM
How to create, write and send love, friendship, positive messages.
A SOFT PILLOW FOR ME
Hand-painted soft decorative and useful pillows for me and for you, for her and for him.
TELL ME
A decorative message board to put everything on, lest you forget.
