Do you want to use your creative energies to contribute to the creation of a society that offers equal opportunities to all young people in your community?
Institute Voluntariat, in collaboration with TiPovej! and Bunker Productions, is preparing a set of creative workshops for young people from diverse environments and backgrounds, with the goal of producing a clothing-line of unique »smart t-shirts«, each one with an original motive or slogan expressing its author's views and messages related to the topic of social exclusion. Workshops will be conducted in Slovene and English.
The "smart wear" collection will later on be publicly exhibited during a one-day street exhibition in Ljubljana city centre as well as during a week long exhibition in cultural centre Stara elektrarna.
A single, three-day training session will comprise of the following workshops:
- 1st day: Human rights workshop
- 2nd day: Graphic design and illustration workshop
- 3rd day: Workshop on active citizenship
Trainings will take place in Community youth centre in Bežigrad in Ljubljana. The three separate training sessions (for three separate groups of participants) will take place on the following dates:
- 6th, 7th and 13th of February (1st training);
- 13th, 14th and 20th of February (2nd training);
- 20th, 21st and 27th of February 2010 (3rd training).
