Handy fingers is program for youth in Youth clubs in Ljubljana. It is opportunity for youth to create their own unique products.

Program is prepared in the way to spring internal creativity processes to design some products with no pattern and almost no sewing from fabric, pearls, laces... Products they will make can be the toy, decoration, flower, souvenir, valet or gift.

Program consist of workshops which can allowed participation in single workshop or in the whole set of them.

Aims of the workshops:

  1. encouraging creative self- confidence;
  2. bringing nearer to the participants the importance of handy skills;
  3. offering relaxing atmosphere;
  4. developing key competence as creativity, entrepreneurships, innovatively, learning to learn and active participation in society;
  5. creating pleasant sessions and getting to know each other better by exchanging experiences.

Program based on the methods of non-formal learning where the main role have young participants in co-creating learning out-comes and learning path. Special meaning has creativity as a skill, which can lead participants to more solutions.

Parents will be kindly invited to join the program as we wish to increase the trust of local community in to Youth clubs services what can consequently bring more young people in different activities. With practical workshops we wish to create the space where parents and children over making different hand made products co-create the relationships, learn from each other and use the gaining skills and knowledge at home.
