What is a goodwill gesture? This is the question initiated by a group of young trainees at our organisation. At the start, we devoted an event to answering this question. The event was hosted by a partner organisation from Trbovlje (PUNKT), in the spaces of Coworking Zasavje.
We discovered that this question brings about interesting answers and even more interesting questions. That is why we are organising followup events in Ljubljana.
The question "What is a goodwill gesture?" sparks entertaining thoughts that lead to a higher understanding about society, the changes we wish, and about how and what we can contribute to the society and to the change(s).
With this project we would like to make the Ljubljana area kinder, warmer, and especially more open.
By increasing awareness of our own goodwill gestures, and the goodwill gestures of others, we also become aware of our interconnectedness, and of the real influence we have on the society we live in. We help the young understand that they have the power and the responsibility to shape their own lives, and the life of our city.
Through the process, we are discovering which goodwill gestures we are already doing and which ones we can still do.
We are executing monthly events. The content of each meeting is the followup from the previous event.
