The set of an individual's informal knowledge, experiences, and skills is a hidden treasure that should be recognised and validated, and, with a variety of different measures, recommendations, and proposals, properly installed in both educational and work processes.
During the training we introduced a concept of validation and recognition of skills and we trained the participants for using different tools. In addition, we were mentoring them through the creation of a badge-based eco-system and recording learning outcomes. Together with educators and young people we evaluated the effectiveness of the tools and upgraded the badges to their final form.
