Learning and Career Paths of the Future

A workshop for discovering future competencies and creating your own learning, social and career paths.
Create your future!
What does participation in the workshop bring?

The workshop is based on the “Global Youth Skills” methodology developed by the Institute for the Future, which enables a better understanding of the future of learning and work. While not long ago we wanted to become firefighters, doctors, or lawyers, today we have a broader view of life. The work is therefore based on strategic suggestions that we explain to young people and then support them in answering specific questions and mapping out their future archetype. After participating in the workshop, young people gain a clearer picture of the future of learning, work, and the opportunities in the world they are entering.

  • How well am I prepared for the future?

  • Which future competencies are important to me?

  • Which person of the future inspires me?

  • Creating Your Own Future

We run the workshop for groups. We need at least 2 hours to deliver it, but we can extend it to 4 hours if needed—the duration depends on the ambition and how many new ideas are required.

We developed the workshop as part of the Young People Co-Create Learning Spaces project, where we used the “Global Youth Skills” methodology to conduct an international study of the learning, social, and professional narratives of young Europeans.
