Digital Systemic – Free Digital Tools for the Development of Modern (Digital) Youth Work

The Digital Systemic project represents an important step toward a systematic and thoughtful digital transformation of youth work. It is an international project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, bringing together partners from several countries with the aim of developing practical tools to strengthen the digital competences of youth workers and organizations.

At the heart of the project is an open online resource library, freely accessible to anyone interested. On the platform, users can find more than 50 interactive activities that can be used in various ways – for independent learning by young people, as part of workshops, or as support for organizations in the strategic development of digital youth work.

Access all materials: https://www.digitalyouthwork.net/

In addition to the activities, the platform also includes:

  • a blended online course with video content and practical tasks,
  • a collection of good practices in digital youth work from across Europe,
  • a self-assessment tool for youth workers’ digital competences, based on an international competence framework developed within SNAC in the field of digital youth work (first edition),
  • support tools for organizations in planning their digital development.

A special value of the project lies in its holistic approach to digital transformation – not merely as the use of technology, but as a process that includes reflection, ethics, relationships, and the needs of young people. The project promotes a thoughtful use of digital tools, where technology supports youth work rather than replacing it.

Digital Systemic is intended for both youth workers and organizations that wish to:

  • develop digital competences,
  • improve the quality of their work with young people,
  • understand the role of technology in modern society,
  • introduce digital approaches in an inclusive, ethical, and youth-friendly way.

The project remains open to the wider community – users can test the tools, provide feedback, and contribute to further development of the content, including translations into different languages.

Digital Systemic thus represents an accessible and practical resource for anyone who wants to understand and co-create the future of youth work in the digital world. The materials and the initiative will remain active even after the project ends, as Zavod TiPovej! is integrating them into its regular work and continuing with the education and mentoring of youth workers and organizations.
