Maybe you have a project idea. Maybe you want to create, organize, or change something. Maybe you just know you want to do something your own way, but you don’t quite know how yet.
You don’t need a finished plan. You don’t need a company, an association, or an institute. And of course, you don’t need to know everything.
The City Incubator helps you take the step from DREAM. PL AN. DO. “I might have an idea” to “I actually did this“.
The module is designed for young people between 18 and 29 years old , who have an idea and want to develop it with the support of mentors, the community, and other young people.
What do you get?
Knowledge and mentoring
You learn how to develop, plan, and implement an idea. Mentors and the experiences of others are there to help you along the way.
Financial support
An Idea Fund worth a total of €30,000 is available to bring selected ideas to life.
A year at BAZA
You get a 1-year membership at BAZA, the Ljubljana Youth Center: you can use the coworking spaces, cultural and educational content, gaming and podcast rooms, and storage lockers.
A year at Center Rog
You also have a 1-year membership at Center Rog at your disposal, including the use of the Mladi Rog space, production workshops, training, and support from technicians.
Community
Meet other young people with their own ideas, skills, and experiences. You might find a collaborator, a partner, or someone who helps you look at your idea from a different perspective.
What if my idea isn’t quite a “real” idea yet?
Even better. You can submit a concept, project, service, prototype, program, initiative, change, action, innovation…
It could be something you’ve wanted to do for a long time. It could be something that just occurred to you yesterday. The important thing is that it excites you and pulls you forward—even if you’re a little bit scared.
You don’t need a company, association, or any other legal entity to apply.
Now it’s up to you. If you have an idea that you don’t want to leave as just an idea, this could be your next step.
IDEA FUND: €30,000
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 19. 10. 2026 until midnight
