The ConnectEd: Bridging Minds, Building Communities project is an Erasmus+ initiative supported by the European Union. Its goal is to help youth workers support young people in learning important life skills. These include:
- Learning to learn
- Building strong communities
- Understanding mental health
Why is this project important?
Traditional education often does not teach young people these skills. Also, many young people struggle with mental health problems, especially because of social media. The ConnectEd project wants to solve these issues by giving youth workers the right tools to help.
How does it work?
The project is creating a special ConnectEd methodology that will give youth workers new ways to support young people. It will also include digital learning paths, which make learning more fun and easy to access.
Who is involved?
The project is run by organizations from different countries:
- TiPovej! (Slovenia)
- BACKSLASH (Spain)
- Libero (Serbia)
- Connect International (Belgium)
Who funds the project?
The project is co-funded by European Union through the ERASMUS+ program. This backing underscores the project’s alignment with EU standard and its commitment to foster learning and development across borders. However, it is important to note that the views expressed in this news are solely those of the authors and do not necessary reflect those of the EU.
