Cities of Learning is an international network active in more than 40 locations across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.

Our mission is simple: make learning open, accessible and recognised — especially for young people.

Through the Cities of Learning online platform and digital Open Badges, we help create vibrant local learning ecosystems where young people can discover opportunities, develop skills and receive recognition for their achievements.

Cities of Learning enables:

• Interactive mapping of learning opportunities in local communities

• The creation of flexible learning pathways and playlists

• Digital Open Badges to validate skills and competences

• 360° skills and competence assessment tools

We connect youth organisations, schools, municipalities, NGOs and policy makers to strengthen youth participation, non-formal learning, digital innovation and recognition of skills.
